"Myst" is a legendary album. The last opus by Fermenting Innards is a perfect sum of all their career : a solid backbone shaped both by old school first wave Scandinavian black metal and the Unisound bands, infused by the inevitable death metal influence of their fellow countrymen and an unique Katatonia-like vibe. This mix of genres makes this album a record impossible to forget. Filled with amazing sounscapes and a very Northern atmosphere, "Myst" is a gem of 90s extreme music, perfectly falling into the experimental and avantgarde part of the scene. The album, released in 1995, features contributions from Dan Swanö (Edge of Sanity, Bloodbath), Rickard Alricksson (Nasum, Necrony), and Oystein Brun (Borgknagar), among others. To mark the album's 30th anniversary, here's this special double LP edition, filled with bonus material, completely remastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound for the reissue.
