The Phantom band was formed in 1979 on the initiative of Bogus Michalonek (vocals, guitar). The band mainly performed Michalonek’s compositions and covers of Sex Pistols, The Stranglers and Gary Newman. Phantom won an honorable mention at “Rockowisko `80”. The band then performed under the name Enola Gay.The material on the album comes from a found analog tape, the so-called “setka,” which is a recording from a rehearsal held at Klub Medyka on Roosevelta Street in Łódź.
