From the ashes of Link?ping's pioneering punk band, Tings of London, IQ 55 emerged onto the scene in 1978. Their compelling performances quickly made them the most sought-after band in their hometown. In 1979, IQ 55 recorded their first and only single, "Livet ?r En Bluff (Balladen)/ Bara Sv?righeter," in Gothenburg. Following their contribution to the compilation album Arnes Korvbar and numerous attempts to attract record labels, the band disbanded in October 1983. Finally, here it is : a full-length album, "Livet ?r En Bluff", containing IQ 55's timeless, original, and raw sound is here.
