Heist were a hardcore / powerviolence band from Perth, grinding their teeth in the same bones of Rupture and Nailed Down when Australia had some of the best and most vicious fast music of the world. They were active in the mid 90's, unleashing two amazing 7" EPs on Havoc and Ecocentric. After those they released their only album, "18 gears of hell", only on CD and then vanished. This full lenght showed a broader range of influences, adding sludge vibes and a Nirvana touch to their violent hardcore sound. For the first time this forgotten gem is released on vinyl, so if you love the Aussie scene of the 90's and full throttle music in general, don't miss this one!
