Forensic is an absolutely depressingly dark & crushing true crime/medical ridden album. There is literally nothing else that reaches this caliber. Part of what sells this are the melodies and vocals. Insane. This is what happens when you climb out of the box, you stay true to death metal, but somehow make something so unique and rich in atmosphere that you almost transcend the genre as a whole while becoming even more brutal. Forensic showcases Mortal Decay at their absolute peak, this album does not sound like a band, it sounds like depressing crime and medical disasters.
