This album is as experimental as it is ferocious. Pantera covers a lot of lyrical ground specifically in calling out the biased media and the sycophantic bands that jumped on the nu metal band wagon. Anselmo's diatribes were a prescient excoriation of what would follow as Metallica released their Load album a few months later. The opener, TGSK, could not be more of a harbinger of the brutality that awaits the listener of this album. This is angry, pissed off and mean. An absolute must.
