Originally released in 1996, "Glorification" is the second EP by Swedish bulldozing force Marduk. This little gem opens with "Glorification of the Black God" a "black metal revisited version" of parts of Mussorgsky's "A night on bare mountain". Then it's time for a bludgeoning streak of covers, with ragers by Destruction, Piledriver, Venom and Bathory. What's basically a black metal band covering thrash metal songs turns out to be one of the most blazing black metal EPs of the 90's, a perfect compendium of what moved Marduk in the first place.
