Logos is a combination of Antediluvian's 2011 full-length, Through the Cervix of Hawaah, as well as their self-released demo from 2008, Under the Wing of Asael, which holds a more raw and "muckier" sound, which itself holds traces of more black metal roots. Logos starts off with an eerily haunting, ambient introduction on the first track then quickly kicks off into a maelstrom of frenzied, distorted riffs by frontman Haasiophis which are followed by the speed-driven percussion talents of Mars Sekhmet. Logos in its entirety is a range of chaos coming from all directions which will either consume or crush you. This is the key word: depth. The impact of this release ultimately defines just that, as well as a representation of ideological and spiritual beliefs which are executed both musically and visually. That's the way death metal should be: filthy and destructive.
