This album was recorded back in 2019 immediately after “Swarm decomposition”, largely because the recording for that album was pretty clean for the band's standards and they wanted to follow it up with something dirtier and true to the spirit of the band. While “Swarm...” leaned more into death metal,”Compulsion “full embodies raw crusty grindcore at its ugliest and angriest, with a few of the sickest Joe death m etalriffs thrown in as a treat. This is also the first raw addict recording the band did with their live vocalist Vicky, her seething furious highs trade off with Joe’s brutal lows to make the most pissed off grind they possibly could. Only to be listened to at extreme volumes!
